Founding of HEAL
HEAL is a coalition that is successfully run by members who are motivated only by the need to response to the opioid crisis. HEAL is supported by volunteers and operated without dedicated funding or a legal mandate. Participating in HEAL is an opportunity to learn from others working on the same issues. Building increased awareness and accountability through the monthly meeting structure HEAL has monthly public meetings that bring stakeholders together to examine needs, monitor progress, and maintain accountability on agreed-upon activities.
